To interact with the Ethereum network you will need to install a mobile distributed application (dApp) browser. In these instructions we will be dealing with installing dApp called MetaMask and installing it on the Chrome browser.

Installing Metamask
Using the Chrome browser go to the MetaMask website.
Click on “Get Chrome Extension” to install MetaMask in chrome.
To complete the installation, click on “Add Extension”.

MetaMask indicates that it is installed in your browser with the small icon of a fox in the upper right-hand corner of your browser window.

Using MetaMask
The first thing you will want to do on MetaMask is to open a “vault” which is your wallet which will hold your cryptocurrencies.

In Chrome click the MetaMask fox logo in the upper right-hand corner of your window.
Read and agree to all the terms.
Enter a password and click “Create” to create your vault.
You will be given a set of 12 “seed words” for your new vault. Click “Save Seed Words as File” and copy the “MetaMask Seed Words” file that downloaded to a safe place. These “seed words” are necessary to access your vault.
Click on “I’ve Copied It Somewhere Safe” once you have safely secured your “seed words” Now you will be taken to your MetaMask wallet.
